Sagar Group of Institutions - SISTec Gandhi Nagar and Ratibad Campus conducted SISTec HeadStart —The Industry-Academia Forum on 27th & 28th November 2021. The event witnessed the presence of Top HRs & Technical Leads, who are trendsetters in the industry with their practices. It was a platform for these Industry Stalwarts to share their thoughts, experiences, and insights with SISTec students and guide them on skilling and training to emerge as future leaders.
The 1st Panel Discussion was on "Employability Enhancement". Elaborating the same, Mr.Gaurav Ghelani (Academic Relationship Manager, Tata Consultancy Services), Mr. Ramkishore S (Vice President and Head HR, Larsen & Toubro), Mr. P. S. Basu (Assistant General Manager, TMTL), and Ms. Steffi Diana (Head Human Resource and Business Process, ABSYZ) shared their views on how the enhancement of skills has impacted day-to-day employment in organizations and highlighted how the employability adoptability began much earlier with the right skilled manpower.
The 2nd Panel Discussion was on "Tech Trends". Mr. Sivaramakrishnan Kasiviswanathan (Senior Software Engineer and Technical Recruiter, Google), Mr. Javed G. S. (Technical Lead, Intel), Mr. Rohit Dubey (Sr. Cloud Consultant, OpenText), and Ms. Sahiba Sultana, CENSE) highlighted the changing tech trends in the current scenario and the use/creation of technology for a better future.
The 3rd Panel Discussion was on "What if?" Mr. Kushendra Singh (Talent Acquisition and Search – APAC, Netflix), Mr. Rahul Singh Rajput (Senior Executive – Human Resource, Sun Pharma), Mr. Manish Pandey (Senior Consultant Pricewaterhouse Coopers), and Mr. Harmeet Singh Saluja (Assistant Manager, Ernst & Young) highlighted the trends emerging in next-gen companies along with the importance and unmatched demand of technology available.
