JEE Advanced will be held on 03 July 2021

JEE Advanced will be held on 3rd July 2021 and the exam criteria of 75% marks in 12th has also been removed for this session.

Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced which is mainly conducted for admission into IITs across the country. Students who have passed the Class 12th examination in 2020 or going to appear for the examination in 2021 are eligible for JEE Advanced Examinations. The JEE Advanced is considered to be more difficult than the JEE Mains because it tests the problem-solving skills of the students, and includes many topics other than the ones from class 11th and 12th.

As per the latest updates received from the live webinar on the social media account of Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, he announced that the JEE Advanced Examination will be held on July 3, 2021, and he mentioned that IIT Kharagpur has the responsibility of conducting the JEE Advanced for the current year. IIT Kharagpur will release detailed JEE Advanced 2021 eligibility criteria on the official website along with the application form. As per last year’s records, the Jee Advanced Examination was conducted by IIT Delhi and almost  2.45 lakh candidates qualified for it. The Union Minister also informed about the newest update as compared to last time that, the eligibility criteria required for admission to IITs through JEE Advanced Examination in 2021 has also been revised under which 75%  marks in 12th class has been removed.

In the pandemic of COVID-19, students faced challenges and troubles in preparing for the examinations due to the physical closure of the schools and coaching institutes. In such a situation, students had requested the education minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ through social media to give exemption in the eligibility criterion for admission. Therefore to consider the request of students and the loss of education, the Central and other state boards including CBSE as well have cut the exam syllabus up to 30%. So that it will give some relaxation to students for their preparation and to crack the examination with good marks.

Every year the JEE Main and JEE Advanced were conducted once a year but to consider the present scenario of pandemic COVID-19 in mind the Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ announced that JEE Main 2021 will be conducted in 4 sessions from February to May 2021. Earlier the dates of the 10th and 12th board exams had been announced by the education minister as well. The registration for the JEE Main examination has started from December 2020 and it will run till 16th January 2021 for the exam going to be held in February. The CBSE will conduct practical examinations for the 10th and 12th board from March 1, 2021, and along with that, the examinations for the 10th and 12th board are also scheduled from 04 June 2021 to 10 June 2021. The result of such board examinations will be released on July 15, 2021.

Some small changes have also done in the exam pattern while keeping the suggestions asked by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from students. The results of such changes are JEE Main Examination is conducted in thirteen Indian Languages which includes Tamil, Urdu, Assamese, Oriya, English, Hindi, and other languages as well.
