Unity in Diversity

We believe in unity, don’t we?
Unity has a divine power like alchemy.
It gives us strength and confidence to fight for people rights and to get you out of peril always no matter whatever the circumstances are.
Usual thought for unity is that for being united there should be least diversity but in reality, it doesn’t seem to be.
let’s take an example of a nuclear family where only few people reside together, they practice same religion, hold same nationality, have most probably same religious & political prospective but still we witness quarrel frequently among them due to difference in everyone’s habits and interests, also in a joint family same things can be witnessed, but there we become more abstemious and experience patience, humbleness and also learn to respect other’s feelings too.
Many countries are there in the world where their citizens practice same religion but still, they have different issues to fight to each other due to different political perspective and if one issue got over then another issue will be there to fight, like caste and colour because in every religion there are number of groups of different morality, thoughts and beliefs which cannot be diminished ever.
Beliefs, thoughts, morality, perspective, agenda, desire, objective everything change with respect to the size of the group of people such as continent, nations, states, districts, cities, towns, villages, families etc. I mean to say that we cannot have same perspective about a particular topic for each group of people because need and objective change from nation to family for same topic.
We know our nation as Incredible India due to its beauty of diversity. Here people practice different religion, belong to different groups of morality and beliefs, live peacefully with brotherhood & liberty. India has been an example for world since eras following the lines….
अयं निजः परो वेति गणना लघु चेतसाम् |
उदारचरितानां तु वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम् ||
This loosely translates to,
“World is One Family”
“One is a relative, the other stranger, say the small minded. The entire world is a family, live the magnanimous.”
If two people belong to same country, meet to each other somewhere in foreign country they don’t quarrel about their views and perspectives on local issues regarding their motherland despite of having difference in their views and perspectives they celebrate their gathering because they know that there is a rare similarity between them, in same manner if we understand the basic values and don’t discriminate among human beings and feel that all human beings are same and everyone is free to like or dislike something and we cannot force anyone to think in similar way then I think we can have a better world with compassion and love and that would make this article true that unity lies in the diversity.
Nature has no discrimination, it is available free of cost for everyone, god has blessed us with his gifts to human kind that we don’t value. Mankind has created a lot of boundaries among us but still we have similarity in basic manner that all are human being & everyone has same needs.
पोथी पढ़ि पढ़ि जग मुआ, पंडित भया न कोय ।
ढाई आखर प्रेम का, पढ़े सो पंडित होय ।।
This loosely translates to,
“Reading books everyone died, none became any wise,
One, who reads the word of Love, only becomes wise.”
We all need to understand the oldest and simplest feeling known to mankind that is Love. Love for all.
